Shakshuka - The quick and easy way

Quick and easy Shakshuka

1 red chilli, finely chopped optional

1 jar Amboora Shakshuka Sauce

4 eggs

Fresh basil or coriander


  1. Heat some olive oil in a large pan and add the onion. Fry gently over a low heat until softened. Add the garlic and chilli and cook for a further few minutes.
  2. Add the Shakshuka sauce and allow to simmer for 5 mins. Make 4 dips in the sauce and crack in the eggs. Cover with a lid and cook for 6-8 mins, depending on desired result of the egg. Cook for less time for a runny yolk.
  3. Sprinkle over some chopped fresh basil or coriander season to taste and serve with crusty bread.
