First on the list: warm La Kama.
La Kama is a sweet, peppery blend of warm spices from Tangier. It is a simpler version of the more famous Ras El Hanout, but it still features five spices: black pepper, cinnamon, tumeric, nutmeg and ginger.
The mildest of our spices, La Kama complements a plethora of light and classic dishes from across the globe. We recommend adding a sprinkle of spice to the following meals:
- Roast chicken with honeyed onion with almonds
- Tagine with apricots and pine nuts
- Chicken with caramelised quince
‘Our La Kama spice blend is a classic spice blend from my mother’s home town Tangiers, Northern Morocco. I wanted to share the spice blend that I grew up with as a kitchen cupboard staple.’ says Nadia.
Next up: fragrant Ras El Hanout
Ras El Hanout is one of the most well-renowned Moroccan spices, a mixture of over 40 different spices and flavourings. Ingredients commonly used in Ras El Hanout include chili peppers, coriander seed, peppercorn, sweet and hot paprika: a unique aromatic blend of warm spices that make any dish special.
The most flavoursome of our spices, Ras El Hanout adds oomph to simple meals, especially sweets and desserts. We recommend spicing up the following dishes:
- French toast
- Creme brûlée
- Pouched pears
- Chai tea cookies

Finally we have: Marrakech Mechoui
Marrakech Mechoui is an aromatic, deep blend of Moroccan style BBQ spices named after the famous alley of the same name in the heart of Marrakech. Made up of 7 ingredients, including cumin, tumeric and paprika, Mechoui has a smokey taste to die for.
