Makes 2 burgers
Prep time- 20 mins
Cooking time- 45 mins
Ingredients:
2 red peppers
250g lamb mince
2 tsp Amboora Smoky Ras el Hanout Spice Blend
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Handful of fresh mint, chopped
2 burger buns
Feta cheese
1 red onion, sliced
Harissa paste
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan. Add your red peppers to a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil and season. Roast in the oven until soft and slightly charred.
2. Meanwhile, combine the lamb mince, ras el hanout, garlic, mint and salt and pepper and shape into patties. Heat some oil in a frying pan and add the burgers. Cooked over a medium / low heat, flipping every few minutes, until the burgers are golden brown and cooked through.
3. Remove the peppers from the oven. To plate up, spread a layer of harissa paste over one burger bun, top with the burger patty, a roasted red pepper, crumbled feta, red onion and top with the other burger bun. Served with your desired salad, our potato salad recipe pairs well with this.
