Ingredients:
1 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
1 tsp Amboora Smoky Ras El Hanout
10 fresh figs
3 tbsp runny honey
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200C / 180C fan.
- Cut the figs into halves (fruit side up) and place onto a baking tray lightly covered with oil and bake for 10 minutes.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to a saucepan and bring to the boil until thickened. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer until gooey, this should take another 10 minutes.
- Pour the thickened honey sauce over the figs and enjoy! Bsaha!
