Spiced Energy Bars

150g peanut butter
125ml runny honey
2 large bananas, mashed
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp Amboora Signature Ras El Hanout Spice Blend
1 tsp ground cinnamon
100g chopped dates
50g cashews / hazelnuts / walnuts or any desired nut
20g mixed seeds
- Preheat the oven to 180C / 160C fan.
- In a large bowl, combine your wet ingredients – the peanut butter, honey, mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl, apart from a handful of the mixed seeds. Make sure everything is nicely coated and then press the mixture until a lined baking tray.
- Sprinkle over the remaining seeds and a pinch of salt. Bake until golden brown, about 25 – 30 mins. Cut into bars and enjoy!
